quinque - 5th Anniversary Exhibition -

Outline of the exhibition

MARUEIDO JAPAN is holding a group exhibition called "quinque" to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the gallery's opening. "quinque" means "five" in Latin.
MARUEIDO JAPAN first opened in 2018 and our very first exhibition was a group one called "DIFFUSION". This was an exhibition that started by incorporating the idea of "diffusion" by spreading our wings alongside artists, but from 2020, because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our activities have been restricted. However, despite this, each artist has responded to the changes of the times and steadily gained achievements in Japan and overseas. Three years have now passed, and today in the transition period to post-COVID we are entering a really fulfilling time. It was not possible to gather together again all of the members of "DIFFUSION", but "5" artists, Daikoku Takayuki, Fujisaki Ryoichi, Masuda Masahiro, Yokomizo Miyuki, and Yoshikawa Tamihito have confirmed their attendance, and the content of their work is expected to confirm their present standing points respectively, as well as to lead to "diffusion" toward the future.
In addition, it is thanks to the support of many people that we are able to hold our fifth anniversary exhibition.
